You awaken in Konoha, but something's wrong. The buildings look different—older. Through the dust, you see the Hokage faces on the mountain… only three of them.

Then you spot them: young Minato with yellow hair, and nearby, teenage Kushina. Your parents. Alive.

The time travel worked. What's your first move?

The Hokage's Office

The ANBU shinobi grips your arm tightly as you're escorted into the tower. Behind the desk sits the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, in his prime. His eyes study you carefully.

“An unknown shinobi appears in my village,” he says, pipe in hand. “Who are you, and how did you bypass our defenses?”

How do you respond?

A Risky Gamble

Hiruzen raises an eyebrow at your request. The ANBU shift uneasily.

“You ask much for an intruder,” he says slowly. But something in your desperate eyes gives him pause. He waves his hand. “Leave us. Wait outside.”

The ANBU hesitate, then comply.

“You have five minutes before I call them back,” Hiruzen says, chakra subtly gathering. “Speak.”

You mention the Nine-Tails attack, Minato's sacrifice, Orochimaru's betrayal, the Uchiha massacre…

His expression darkens with each revelation. “These are… troubling claims. How do I know you're not a spy with elaborate lies?”

What proof can you offer?

The Seal's Revelation

You lift your shirt, revealing the intricate Eight Trigrams seal on your stomach. Hiruzen's eyes widen in recognition.

“That seal… it's Minato's technique. But he hasn't even perfected it yet…”

You reach inward, asking Kurama for help. The fox grumbles but complies. Chakra flares around you—red and menacing.

“Enough! I saw… enough.” His hands tremble. “You're telling the truth. You're… Kushina and Minato's son. From a timeline of tragedy.”

He looks at you with new eyes. “What do you need from me?”

A Grand Design

Hiruzen nods slowly, then his expression turns grave. “Ambitious. But changing the future has risks—butterfly effects you can't predict.”

He paces. “The Uchiha are already growing discontent with the village. Danzo watches them like hawks. If you want to prevent their massacre, you'll need to earn their trust first.”

He pauses. “There's a young Uchiha kunoichi—Mikoto. Sharp, talented. She could be your connection to the clan. But tread carefully.”

“Where do you want to start? The Uchiha situation? Orochimaru's corruption? Or something else?”

Setting the Pieces

Hiruzen agrees to work on Orochimaru, though he warns it won't be easy. “His thirst for knowledge borders on obsession. But I'll try.”

The Uchiha Approach

A week later, you're introduced at a clan gathering as “a promising young ninja under Hokage's observation.” The Uchihas eye you warily.

Then you see her—Mikoto Uchiha, around sixteen, dark hair, elegant features. She's sparring with Fugaku in the training yard.

She notices you watching. “You're the new one? Want to test your skills?”

How do you approach her?

The Dance of Blades

You accept her challenge. The Uchiha clan gathers, curious eyes watching.

Fugaku's eyes narrow suspiciously.

You deliberately take a hit, ending the match in a draw. Both of you breathe heavily.

Mikoto stares at you, intrigued. “You fight like you've seen a thousand battles. Who trained you?”

The clan circles closer, especially Fugaku. “Yes,” he says coldly. “Explain yourself.”

There's genuine interest in her eyes.

But there's troubling news—Danzo has been asking questions about “the mysterious merchant.”

But Danzo isn't fooled entirely.

One night, Hiruzen warns you: “Danzo knows something's happening. He thinks you're building a rival organization. He hasn't moved yet, but he's… watching closely.”

Mikoto touches your arm during training. “Whatever you're planning, be careful. Danzo has destroyed people for less.”

Her concern is genuine. Your relationship has grown beyond simple training partners.

A Dangerous Gamble

The orphan network expands—twenty-five children now training as merchants by day.

But your Root infiltration?

You attempt to disguise yourself and slip into Root's underground facility. Within hours, you're surrounded by emotionless masked operatives.

A bandaged figure emerges from shadows—Danzo.

“Did you think me a fool?” His Sharingan eye glares beneath the bandages. “You've been under surveillance since you arrived. Now, you'll tell me everything.”

Root operatives move to restrain you. This is very bad.

What do you do?

The Fox Unleashes

You almost laugh. Danzo doesn't know what you are.

SKILL CHECK: Moderate (4/10 vs 5/10) - SUCCESS

Golden chakra explodes around you—Six Paths Sage Mode activates. Root operatives are blown back like leaves.

Danzo's eye widens in shock. “That chakra… impossible!”

You move faster than his Sharingan can track. Truth-Seeking Orbs form. Shadow clones flood the chamber. A Rasenshuriken screams to life.

“I've fought gods, Danzo. You're nothing.”

Within seconds, he's subdued, Root operatives unconscious. You seal his chakra before he can use Izanagi.

“W-what are you?” he gasps.

Hiruzen arrives with ANBU, alerted by the chakra surge. He sees Danzo restrained, the destroyed Root facility, and you standing amid the wreckage.

“I think,” Hiruzen says carefully, “we need to have a longer conversation about your true power.”

The Reckoning

Hiruzen calls an emergency council. Danzo's arm—lined with stolen Sharingan—is revealed. The Uchiha clan erupts in fury. Fugaku demands justice.

You speak: “The Uchiha have always protected this village. Danzo's paranoia nearly destroyed that bond.”

The Sharingan are returned to grieving families. Danzo is imprisoned. The village… shifts. Uchiha and non-Uchiha talk cautiously.

New Bonds

Mikoto brings you to meet her friends—young Kushina Uzumaki (brash, energetic) and Minato Namikaze (calm, brilliant). Seeing your parents alive takes your breath away.

“You okay?” Mikoto asks, concerned.

Meanwhile, you gather the future: Hiashi Hyuga, Shikaku Nara, Choza Akimichi, Inoichi Yamanaka, Tsume Inuzuka, Shibi Aburame—all young clan heirs.

“A united training force?” Shikaku raises an eyebrow. “Interesting…”

The United Force

Kushina notices too. “Oi, merchant-kun! You and Mikoto are always together! Just date already!”

Mikoto blushes. Minato chuckles.

Your relationship with Mikoto has deepened considerably. The moment feels… right.
