# Journey of Survival
**by Aleem4design**

## 1 | Start

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/bdab6258-a891-4776-836f-b6ea427c8800.jpg)

Welcome, traveler! You stand at the threshold of infinite possibility, a blank canvas awaiting your imagination.

**Where do you wish to begin your journey?** What world calls to you - a medieval kingdom, a futuristic metropolis, a magical realm, or something entirely your own?

Tell me, and your adventure shall unfold.

## 2 | I was on a ship trip, and the ship sank due to storms and turbulent waves. I clung to a piece of wood and started swimming until I reached an island where there were only women. I reached the shore unconscious, so that I could be rescued and treated.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/1c7d4f44-fd38-4f9e-81aa-ee227b00b427.jpg)

You wake to gentle hands tending your wounds. Three women in flowing garments kneel beside you on white sand. Behind them, others watch with curious, cautious eyes.

"*He breathes,*" one whispers. Their language is strange yet somehow understandable.

**What do you do?**

## 3 | I open my eyes and look at the beautiful faces, I say thank God I have been saved. I try to tell them I'm thirsty, I pretend to drink from a glass.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c892e9d0-7d8e-49e3-b091-ae7f96c02eff.jpg)

One of the women nods knowingly at your gesture. She hurries away, returning moments later with a carved wooden cup filled with fresh water. She helps lift your head as you drink.

"*Welcome, stranger,*" the eldest woman says, her voice warm yet guarded. "*You are the first man to reach our shores in many years.*"

The others exchange meaningful glances.

**What do you do or say?**

## 4 | I looked at them with astonishment and surprise, then I said, "Thank you both for saving me and the water. I was about to die, but where am I? "

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e24c8b7a-eeee-468e-a2f8-a29cda572497.jpg)

The eldest woman's expression grows serious. "*You are on **Thessara**, the Island of Daughters. We left the mainland generations ago to escape the wars of men.*"

She pauses, studying you carefully. "*Our laws forbid men here. The Council will decide your fate at sunset.*"

The women help you to your feet, supporting your weakened body.

**What do you do?**

## 5 | Oh my God, I can't believe this. I'm sure this is all a dream. I was on a ship, then the ship sank, and I clung to a piece of driftwood for two days until I regained consciousness. I only woke up here.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/579523f0-cdd5-4982-9b35-078711d77ef0.jpg)

The eldest woman's expression softens. "*This is no dream, though I understand your confusion. You've endured much.*"

She gestures toward a path leading inland. "*Come. You need rest and food before the Council convenes. Perhaps your story will sway their judgment.*"

The women begin guiding you toward a village nestled in the jungle.

**Do you follow them, or resist?**

## 6 | I followed them, the fatigue evident on my face, then I said "Thank you, kind lady, for taking me in. If my presence is causing you any concern, I am ready to leave. Just give me a little time to recover."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/690c5f60-eba5-4e3b-834f-45df08891c51.jpg)

The eldest woman stops, regarding you with surprised approval. "*Your words show wisdom, stranger. Few men would offer such respect.*"

She continues walking. "*I am **Mirella**, village healer. You cannot leave—not in your condition, and not without a boat. Rest now. Show the Council the same humility, and perhaps…*"

She trails off as you enter the village. Women stop their work to stare.

**What do you do while waiting?**

## 7 | Thank you, kind doctor. I hope to repay your kindness in saving me, and I hope I don't cause you any trouble. I am ready for whatever sentence you deem appropriate, as I understand your concerns.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/3a298795-fb8b-4fdc-890c-7892f37ae973.jpg)

Mirella's eyes soften. "*Rest here,*" she says, leading you to a shaded hut. "*The Council meets at dusk.*"

A younger woman brings fruit and bread, but her gaze is hostile. She whispers to Mirella, glancing at you suspiciously.

Hours pass. Drums begin to sound.

**Do you prepare yourself mentally, or try to speak with someone?**

## 8 | Go and rest in the hut, feel very hungry and start eating voraciously, look at the hostile look from the girl and smile at her as an expression of thanks.Because I have no hostile intentions towards them, on the contrary I want to make them happier, as an expression of gratitude.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/29a170e5-bab2-4e3d-9f80-c8962a4b450b.jpg)

The girl flinches at your smile, then quickly looks away, her hostility wavering slightly. She leaves without a word.

As you finish eating, the drums grow louder. Mirella appears at the doorway. "*It's time. The Council awaits.*"

She leads you toward a torchlit clearing where seven women sit in ceremonial robes.

**How do you approach them?**

## 9 | I entered, then looked at them with a calm expression and a smile on my face, then I greeted them with a nod, and sat in the place they had prepared for me.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d42d004e-fef8-469d-b1a5-ccf4680ef3b8.jpg)

The eldest Councilwoman, adorned with jade beads, speaks first. Her voice echoes across the clearing.

"*I am **Elder Kassia**. You claim shipwreck brought you here. Yet no wreckage washes ashore. Why should we believe you mean no harm?*"

The other Councilwomen watch you intently, hands resting near ceremonial daggers.

**How do you respond?**

## 10 | I was on a cruise for a week, but I don't know how the captain didn't notice the weather changes until we were hit by a storm, and the ship started to sink. Everyone tried to save themselves, but I don't know what happened to them.* While drowning, I found a long piece of wood that I was able to hold onto, and I started swimming without knowing anything about directions. The first day and night passed and I continued until I started to feel tired, hungry and sleepy.*I climbed onto the wooden plank and lay down on it until the sun rose. Then I started swimming again for the second day, seeing nothing but the sea, until I felt I was going to die from extreme thirst and hunger. I lay down on the floating wooden plank.* I woke up to find women's faces looking at me. I was saved because of you, so I am ready to carry out any sentence you issue. I understand your concerns, and I harbor no ill will towards you; on the contrary, I wish to make you happy.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/85f55df4-7891-4338-9c46-3c93a01b0712.jpg)

Elder Kassia studies you silently. The Councilwomen murmur among themselves.

A younger Council member stands abruptly. "***Pretty words!** Our grandmothers fled men's wars with such promises. I say exile him to the rocks!*"

But Mirella speaks from the crowd: "*He offered to leave despite his condition. That shows character.*"

The Council debates heatedly. Finally, Kassia raises her hand for silence.

"*You may stay… **for now**. Prove your worth through labor. Any transgression, and you face the sea.*"

**What is your reaction?**

## 11 | I join my two hands and raise them, as an expression of my gratitude for allowing me to stay, even temporarily, and then I say"I am not trying to absolve myself as a man, because I know perfectly well why you are worried, but the truth is,I believe that women who have gone through those difficult times know that not all men are the same; there are respectable men، And there are bad men،

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d6d22aa6-7433-47c6-b8e3-2a401221deaf.jpg)

A tense silence follows your words.

Elder Kassia's eyes narrow. "*You presume to teach *us* about men? We who survived their cruelty?*"

But another Councilwoman nods slowly. "*He speaks truth, though. My father was kind before the wars…*"

The Council remains divided. Kassia waves dismissively. "*Enough. Tomorrow you work the fields. **Prove yourself with actions, not words.***"

**What do you do?**

## 12 | I apologize to everyone, but it seems my presence here will cause problems among you, so please allow me to leave. All I want is a boat, food, and enough water to last me for a few days.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/b0f61217-5c11-4c03-bb49-92d73f8513f3.jpg)

Elder Kassia stands, her face unreadable. "*A boat? Our boats are sacred, built by our mothers. You think we'd give one to a stranger?*"

She descends toward you. "*Your humility is noted, but also suspicious. Perhaps you seek to escape justice elsewhere?*"

Another Councilwoman adds coldly: "*Besides, the nearest land is **two weeks' sail**. You'd die before reaching it.*"

Mirella steps forward. "*Let him stay and work. If he truly means well, time will show.*"

**Do you accept, or press your case?**

## 13 | Well, I have a suggestion for you. Let me live in a cabin far from your village, and I will do all the work you ask of me. You can continue your normal lives as if I don't exist.* All I want from you is food and water.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/3da7f019-c744-45e4-9700-285fdacd40ce.jpg)

The Council exchanges glances. Kassia considers your proposal.

"*There is an **abandoned fisherman's hut** north of here. You may use it—under guard rotation. Work the gardens, repair what needs fixing.*"

She leans closer. "*But know this: one misstep, and the ocean becomes your grave.*"

**Do you accept these terms?**

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/6226312b-eb70-456f-83ec-96cd3d2ffee8.jpg)

Elder Kassia's expression hardens, then softens slightly. "*You bargain boldly for a castaway.*"

She confers with the Council in hushed tones. Finally: "***Six moons**. Prove yourself worthy, and we'll reconsider your place here—perhaps even help you build a vessel to leave, if you wish.*"

Another Councilwoman adds sharply: "*But fail us, and you'll beg for exile.*"

Mirella nods approvingly at your courage.

**Do you accept?**

## 15 | My face beams with overwhelming happiness and deep gratitude, and I say, "Yes, yes, yes, agreed, agreed."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/ae7ddb8c-36bd-4094-a5d3-a6c756048796.jpg)

Elder Kassia allows a faint smile. "*Then it is settled. Tomorrow at dawn, you begin.*"

Mirella escorts you back to the guest hut. "*Rest well. The work here is hard, but honest.*"

As you settle in, you hear voices outside—two young women arguing over who must take first guard duty. One sounds particularly displeased.

Morning light breaks. A stern-faced woman waits outside with supplies.

"*I'm **Sera**. Your guard. Let's go.*"

**What do you say or do?**

## 16 | I smile at her and say, "Welcome, Sera, let's go," then I walk with her and ask, "What do you want me to do today?"

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/aa841e6d-a180-4957-ae9e-f33201e05bb7.jpg)

Sera walks briskly, barely looking at you. "*First, we reach your hut. Then the gardens need weeding. The irrigation channels are clogged.*"

The path winds upward through dense jungle. The isolated hut finally appears—weathered but sturdy, overlooking the sea.

"*Your new home,*" she says flatly. "*Get to work by midday.*"

**What do you do first?**

## 17 | I tell her, "I'll start working right now, but don't forget the food." I smile at her and go into the hut to begin cleaning it. Then I go out and work diligently, removing weeds and repairing the irrigation channels that water the fields.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e28afebd-da3a-46e7-a00a-94134b93ad16.jpg)

Sera tosses you a cloth sack. "*Dried fish, fruit, water.*" She watches skeptically as you begin.

Hours pass. Sweat pours down your face as you clear stubborn weeds and unblock channels. Water begins flowing properly again.

Sera approaches, expression unreadable. "*You… actually work.*" Almost grudging respect in her voice.

A bell rings from the village below.

**Continue working, or ask about the bell?**

## 18 | Ok thank you

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/6983607c-c2f1-40ef-9d2a-8763b562c2df.jpg)

You continue working through the afternoon heat. The garden transforms under your efforts.

As sunset approaches, Sera stands. "*That bell signals evening meal. Village women gather at the communal fire. You'll eat here—I'll bring food.*"

She hesitates, then adds quietly: "*You worked well today.*"

**What do you do this evening?**

## 19 | Thank you, Sera. I'm so glad I did a good job and you liked it. You can leave now. Don't worry, I'm going to sleep.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/654877e1-0859-40ef-a7dc-04f2ca63cbef.jpg)

Sera nods, studying you for a moment longer. "*Tomorrow, the fishing nets need repair. Sleep well… stranger.*"

She disappears into the jungle path.

You settle into the simple hut, exhausted but satisfied. The ocean's rhythm lulls you to sleep.

**Dawn breaks.** Sera arrives with breakfast and torn fishing nets slung over her shoulder, but she seems less hostile than yesterday.

**What do you do?**

## 20 | I get up and smile at Sera, take breakfast and the net from her hand, and say, "Thank you, thank you for breakfast. I'll fix the fishing net, don't worry."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/a2525d0a-a3f7-49aa-ac73-1facdf9e487b.jpg)

Sera sits on a nearby rock, watching as you work the nets. For the first time, she speaks without coldness.

"*You're… different than I expected. The elders spoke of men as monsters.*"

She pauses. "*I was born here. Never seen a man before you.*"

Her guard remains up, but curiosity flickers in her eyes.

**How do you respond while working?**

## 21 | I looked into her curious eyes, then smiled gently and said, "I know very well your surprise, your astonishment, and the curiosity in your head, but even if I told you the truth, you wouldn't believe it. But the world I came from is completely different from the one you live in."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/3e75aa3b-5a47-4fa6-8b92-61ef1bc5704d.jpg)

Sera leans forward. "*Tell me anyway. What's your world like?*"

Her hand still rests near her knife, but genuine curiosity overtakes caution. "*We hear stories—cities of stone, great wars, ships that sail for trade not escape…*"

She watches you intently, waiting.

**What do you tell her?**

## 22 | What happened in your country a long time ago has changed, and I think I know the area where you used to live because I've heard and read about it. I'm grateful that I live farther away than your area, but in our world now the situation is completely different.* I can't explain everything to you, but I'll start by saying that in our world there is something called a family, and a family consists of a man and a woman who marry and have children. In my country, there are many, many, many homes, and each home contains...*There are many, many homes that contain such families, meaning that women have no fear of men; on the contrary, they live together happily, just as you live on this island.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/83b68b5e-9a63-48c2-9379-83843b836134.jpg)

Sera's eyes widen. "*Families? Men and women… *together*? Living happily?*"

She shakes her head, bewildered. "*That sounds like… a dream. Here, we only know the stories of violence, of wars fought over land and pride.*"

She studies you carefully. "*This family—did you have one?*"

**How do you answer?**

## 23 | I laughed loudly and said to her gently, "Of course, Sira, that's normal. I have a father and a mother, but I'm not married yet because I'm still studying. How do you understand the word 'studying'? Or don't worry about these terms, but I was planning to get married."*Next year I'll have my own house and live happily with my wife. The whole world lives this way; you're the only ones on this island who are isolated. I don't want to give you ideas that might affect your lifestyle on this island. *Therefore, I hope this conversation stays between us only, please, Sera.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/cb532685-f984-4705-a9a0-d24df14d6b9b.jpg)

Sera's face floods with conflicting emotions—wonder, confusion, fear. "*I… you want me to keep secrets from the Council?*"

She stands abruptly, pacing. "*Everything I've been taught… if what you say is true…*"

She stops, torn. "*I won't tell. But this knowledge… it changes everything.*"

**What do you do?**

## 24 | What are you saying, Sira? It seems I made a mistake when I told you that. I didn't expect it to cause me problems. Please don't say things like that; it will change everything. I think I'll stop talking to you about these things.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d07cb7ab-023e-49a6-8c0f-4dc4f35e504c.jpg)

Sera takes a deep breath, composing herself. "*No… I asked. This is my burden, not yours.*"

She sits back down, quieter now. "*Just… finish the nets. We'll speak no more of this today.*"

The rest of the work passes in heavy silence. Days begin blending together—labor, meals, careful distance.

**What do you focus on?**

## 25 | They focused on my work, and I tried not to talk to her about personal matters. Then one day, I asked her, "I want to ask you a question, but I need you to promise not to tell anyone, no matter who they are. Do you agree?"

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/eb9f9d39-947f-482f-b68e-c5503bfb9038.jpg)

Sera's expression hardens. "*You ask much. First one secret, now another?*"

She crosses her arms. "*Tell me the question first. *Then* I decide if I'll keep it silent.*"

Her tone is firm but not hostile—just cautious.

**What do you ask?**

## 26 | Do you know what? I won't ask you. I think I'm just making things difficult for myself. Let's forget about it.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/4a5eff10-69e5-47ee-b4ab-36efb5fe1192.jpg)

Sera uncrosses her arms, surprised. "*You… give up that easily?*"

A flicker of respect crosses her face. "*Most would push. Demand answers.*"

She studies you for a long moment. "*Fine. Ask. I promise nothing, but… I'll listen.*"

Her guard lowers slightly.

**Do you ask now, or stay silent?**

## 27 | My condition is that you promise not to tell anyone. If you will abide by this, I will tell you; otherwise, I will remain silent.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/b96f4537-f76b-49c0-9893-808b3bb82f86.jpg)

Sera hesitates, conflict clear on her face. Finally, she exhales slowly.

"*I promise. Whatever you ask stays between us… *unless* it threatens our people.*"

She meets your eyes steadily. "*That's the best I can offer.*"

Her honesty is genuine—she won't make empty promises.

**Do you accept and ask, or reconsider?**

## 28 | Laugh out loud and I'll say no, a question that will threaten your people. How foolish of you! I want to preserve your people, I want them to be happy, I want to protect them. But prepare yourself for the question: Are you ready? Because this question will change your world* Are you ready to take the risk?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/2fa744c2-28f5-487b-9a13-e47efa09fa7c.jpg)

Sera's breath catches. Her hands tremble slightly, but she sets her jaw with determination.

"*You speak like the old prophecies… of truths that shatter foundations.*"

She steadies herself, meeting your eyes. "*I'm ready. Ask your question.*"

Her voice is barely a whisper, but her courage is evident.

**What do you ask?**

## 29 | Has your people ever told you how children come into being and how you came into this world? Another question: why don't you have children?😉

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/52969151-a0b7-4d50-939a-368122966b4f.jpg)

Sera's face flushes crimson. "*I… that's…*" She looks away, flustered.

"*The elders say we're blessed by the goddess. Some women bear daughters without…*" She trails off, clearly uncomfortable. "*But it's rare now. Our numbers dwindle.*"

She turns back, realization dawning in her eyes. "*You… you're asking if men are needed for children, aren't you?*"

Her hand covers her mouth. "*That's why we're dying out…*"

**How do you respond?**

## 30 | Yes, the truth came out quickly: children only come when there is a man and a woman. If the man is alone or the woman is alone, it is impossible for there to be children. But the question is... *The most difficult and sensitive aspect of this issue is how men and women conceive, and who has the power to have children – the man or the woman?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/9060b511-78ea-47c4-b7c1-6de807dc9fb4.jpg)

Sera sits heavily on a rock, processing. "*Both are needed… but one carries the child?*"

She looks at you, desperate to understand. "*Women bear children here, when it happens. So women have that power. But you're saying…*"

Her voice drops to a whisper. "*Men give something that makes it possible?*"

She's piecing it together, terrified and fascinated. "*The elders *know* this, don't they? That's why no men are allowed…*"

**What do you tell her?**

## 31 | Before I tell you how, I'll make you promise again: you must swear by everything you hold sacred in your life that you won't tell anyone, that no one will know about this matter, or I won't speak even if you kill me.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c295d2a7-8eb2-4f07-8713-e5fa9d8405a9.jpg)

Sera's frustration flashes. "*Another oath? I already promised!*"

She stands, pacing. "*You test my trust repeatedly. Why?*"

Then she stops, looking at you with sudden understanding. "*This knowledge… it could destroy everything the elders built, couldn't it?*"

She kneels, placing her hand over her heart. "*By the ocean that sustains us, by my mother's memory, I swear—this stays between us alone.*"

Her eyes are solemn.

**Do you tell her now?**

## 32 | Before I explain the method to you, you must understand everything I am going to tell you and be prepared for anything I am going to show you. But first, there are two fundamental differences between men and women. The first difference, and you can notice the difference between me and myself...*Firstly, men have facial hair, which is under their noses, on their cheeks, and even down to their necks. Secondly, and this is more sensitive, there is something in your body that I don't have, and vice versa.

Sera touches her own smooth face, then looks at yours - the stubble growing. "*Yes, I've noticed the hair on your face…*"

She swallows nervously. "*And the second difference… our bodies are shaped differently. We have…*" she gestures vaguely at her chest, then lower, clearly uncomfortable.

"*But I don't understand what this has to do with children,*" she says quietly, both afraid and needing to know.

**How do you explain?**

## 33 | The main difference between the two basic things is what we call breasts and reproductive organs. You have large breasts, but I don't have breasts the size of yours. The reason is that when a woman gives birth, the baby is nourished and drinks milk from its mother's breasts. Do you notice?*The difference between your breasts and mine... As for the genitals, I won't tell you about them until you are ready and comfortable with that.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0130c694-8dcd-439a-81d2-00a910bac1b1.jpg)

Sera looks down at herself, then nods slowly. "*The milk… yes, that makes sense. Babies drink from their mothers.*"

She takes a shaky breath. "*But the… other part. How the baby comes to be inside the woman…*"

She stands abruptly, overwhelmed. "*This is too much. I need time to think about what you've already told me.*"

Her voice wavers. "*When I'm ready, I'll ask. But not today.*"

**What do you do?**

## 34 | I apologize, Sira, for saying this, but I don't know what else to say. You've already endured so much pressure, worry, and confusion, and I understand your inner struggle. You can leave, and whenever you want to ask me about this, I'm here. *But this will be our secret, our only secret, and our oath that we will not break. Agreed, Sera?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/217b10dd-4eb7-4b51-986d-665c3891febf.jpg)

Sera meets your eyes, her expression a mix of turmoil and gratitude. "*Agreed. Our secret.*"

She hesitates at the path, then turns back. "*Thank you… for giving me time. And for trusting me with this.*"

She leaves quickly, clearly needing solitude.

Days pass. Sera returns to her guard duties but seems distant, lost in thought. Other guards rotate through—some hostile, some indifferent.

**How do you spend these days?**

## 35 | I spend my days carrying out all the tasks they ask of me. I don't speak to anyone unless they speak to me first. I make everyone feel safe and secure around me, and many of them thank me for my hard work and for perfecting everything they asked of me. *And I am still waiting for her to come to me and ask me the most important, dangerous, and insane question.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/9e653d52-00f6-44e3-bb3a-006396d4190a.jpg)

Weeks pass. Your reputation grows—even the hostile women soften. The gardens flourish. The nets you repair hold better than before.

One evening, Sera appears alone. She's been avoiding solo guard duty, but tonight she sits beside you as the sun sets.

"*I'm ready,*" she says quietly. "*To understand… everything. How children truly come to be.*"

Her hands tremble, but her voice is steady with resolve.

**What do you tell her?**

## 36 | Before I answer this question, you must know that its answer is the most sensitive and dangerous on your island, and even in our world it is considered a sensitive topic. Therefore, before I speak about it, I will ask you again: are you ready for this? Because if I answer you, *I will show you something you've never seen or heard of before, and the answer will be shocking and will change your life forever. You will either cry as you always have, or be prepared for all the consequences after this answer. My condition is that if you answer it... *You must fulfill any request I make of you if you want to know the whole truth, and you know the greatest secret that your people are hiding.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/3a35e125-13ee-4b3a-96e7-bcbaefa7a26f.jpg)

Sera stands abruptly, anger flashing in her eyes. "***Any request?** You sound like the men from our stories—demanding payment for knowledge that should be shared freely.*"

Her hand moves to her knife. "*I thought you different, but you bargain with information about my people's survival like… like a merchant.*"

She backs away. "*If this knowledge is so important, share it honestly. Or keep your secrets.*"

Her disappointment is palpable.

**What do you do?**

## 37 | You're so naive. Well, I think the timing isn't right for me to tell you, but if you want me to tell you unconditionally, as you say, I'm ready. I'm only saying this to prepare you psychologically because it's a shocking answer for you.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/61ba5a83-90b1-4ce6-9d47-73a0b269f385.jpg)

Sera's anger fades slightly, replaced by caution. "*Then why say it at all? You confused me.*"

She sits back down, but maintains distance. "*Just… tell me plainly. No games, no conditions. If you truly care about helping my people survive, explain what we need to know.*"

Her eyes search yours. "*Please.*"

**How do you explain the truth?**

## 38 | Before I answer your question, I just wanted to show you the difference between you and me, which is between our legs and under our stomachs. I have something called a penis, and you have something called a vagina. Would you like me to show you the difference?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/de5443dd-e706-4fb9-9c4e-1a560644673a.jpg)

Sera recoils, face flushed. "***No!** That's… that's inappropriate!*"

She stands quickly, clearly shaken. "*You can *explain* with words. I'm not… we don't…*"

She takes a steadying breath. "*The Council would have your head for such a suggestion. Just tell me how it works—clinically, like Mirella explains healing.*"

Her trust wavers dangerously.

**How do you proceed respectfully?**

## 39 | If my answer stops here, I won't be able to continue explaining until you're ready or you reject the idea outright. Goodbye, Sira, you may leave.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/88467c8d-253b-4c28-8e5b-b0367fdd8352.jpg)

Sera's face hardens. "*You're just like they warned. Using knowledge as leverage for… for *that*.*"

She leaves without another word, hurt and angry.

Days pass. Sera doesn't return. A different, older guard named **Thera** takes her place—silent and watchful.

One morning, Mirella arrives with food. "*Sera requested reassignment. What happened?*"

Her healer's eyes study you carefully, reading body language.

**What do you tell her?**

## 40 | Nothing, if there's anything, tell me.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/982b4c42-d185-4de6-8fd3-b235c67a4e2e.jpg)

Mirella's eyes narrow. "*Nothing? A capable guard requests transfer and you say *nothing*?*"

She sets down the food. "*The Council notices these things. Your trial period is halfway done. Whatever happened, fix it—or your chances of staying diminish greatly.*"

She leaves, disappointed.

**What do you do now?**

## 41 | Wait until Sera arrives

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c1056d5a-326c-473c-b6c9-0efa9f90b9ae.jpg)

Days pass. Sera doesn't come. Thera remains your silent guard, offering no conversation.

A week later, you spot Sera in the distance—working with other women in the lower fields. She sees you, hesitates, then turns away.

Your work continues. The Council's three-moon mark approaches. You've proven yourself a capable worker, but the incident with Sera has clearly damaged trust.

**Do you continue waiting, or take action?**

## 42 | I'll wait for the right time so I can be alone with her, then I'll tell her, "Okay, I'll tell you everything tomorrow. Thank you for keeping your promise and not breaking it. So, whatever you ask of me, I will do it, but I don't want to see your sad face."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/aa0b4a7a-40d1-4491-8598-eae539c36455.jpg)

You catch her at dusk, carrying water from the well. She stiffens when you approach.

After hearing your words, Sera's expression softens, then hardens again. "*You… apologize by making *me* feel guilty?*"

She sets down the water. "*Tomorrow then. No games this time. Just truth.*"

She walks away, but glances back once.

**How do you prepare for tomorrow?**

## 43 | I woke up early the next morning and found her in front of me, bringing me breakfast. Then I asked her to sit down and said, "Now I will tell you the whole truth without any beating around the bush. You are very dear to me."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/4099741d-d189-4f11-8ac3-877573b10e7b.jpg)

Sera sits cautiously, her breakfast untouched. She takes a deep breath.

"*Then speak plainly. No riddles.*"

She waits, nervous but resolute. The morning light filters through the trees, and the distant sounds of the village waking up seem far away.

Her eyes meet yours, ready to finally understand the truth her people have hidden or lost.

**What do you tell her?**

## 44 | The truth is, Sirah, there is a strange connection between men and women, and there is a condition when having children, which is There must be a bond between the man and the woman, and this bond is a special relationship between them. This relationship is called either friendship or marriage. When the man and woman are together, they are naked, without clothes.*Then they embrace, and the man's penis enters the woman's vagina. They continue moving until the man ejaculates inside the woman. This fluid is what causes the woman to conceive. This pregnancy lasts for a period of time. *Nine months later, the baby emerges from the same place where the man inserted his penis into the woman's vagina. This is a brief explanation, but there are other aspects to this method of conception. I would like to explain them to you as you wish.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/6cb51e98-9fb3-46ff-b539-9b0280313f20.jpg)

Sera's face cycles through shock, disbelief, and finally understanding. She's silent for a long time, processing.

"*That's… why we're dying. Without men, there can be no children.*" Her voice is hollow. "*The elders must know this. They chose extinction over…*"

She looks at you differently now—not with romance, but with the weight of her people's survival on her shoulders.

"*What do we do with this knowledge?*" she whispers.

**How do you respond?**

## 45 | I have no right to speak about the fate of your people; that is up to you. Therefore, please don't let this matter get out of hand between us. I promise, this must remain a secret between us, for perhaps one day everyone will know. But let our secret remain hidden.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/8920bd7e-81a1-4f8a-9683-a73b896d4623.jpg)

Sera nods slowly, tears forming in her eyes. "*A secret that condemns my people… but I gave my oath.*"

She stands, conflicted. "*I need time to think. This burden is heavy.*"

She pauses at the path. "*One thing—this 'bond' you mentioned. It requires trust, yes? Not force?*"

Her question reveals the core of her people's fears.

**How do you answer?**

## 46 | Of course, this bond is based on trust. If this bond is not consensual, then it is considered a crime and is punishable. This usually comes from the man because he likes this thing, and also*Women love it too, but men love it even more. I'm telling you about the world I've lived in, so there are things I've told you about before. There are details I haven't explained before, from the beginning of the relationship to having children. When will your mind be clear? *I will explain all of that to you in excruciating detail.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c9904162-7a1a-4197-8fa4-5482f33c16d5.jpg)

Sera's expression is troubled. "*Men love it more? That's… concerning, given our history.*"

She shakes her head. "*No more details. I understand enough—the mechanics, the consent, why we're fading.*"

She looks toward the village. "*Three moons remain of your trial. The Council will decide your fate, and I… I must decide what to do with what I know.*"

Days pass in tense normalcy. Your work continues to impress the village.

**What do you focus on?**

## 47 | They focused on my work and I continued working hard, and I don't know why everyone is happy and reassured about me, especially after I made many changes and added new ideas to their farming methods and other things.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/751bbf4d-8fd4-41c3-8112-9d96205dc4c5.jpg)

The village transforms under your efforts. New irrigation systems, crop rotations, stronger nets. Women who once glared now greet you warmly.

Elder Kassia visits your garden, impressed. "*You've given much to Thessara.*"

The six-moon mark approaches. The Council will convene soon to decide your permanent fate.

Sera watches from afar, still conflicted.

**What are your hopes for the decision?**

## 48 | All my hopes and wishes are that the council will change its thinking and consider the future of its people, and that they will not make me the cause of their people's suffering, so that I may be the only one left to produce children on this island.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d0ebfc11-90f3-4b33-be12-772593830174.jpg)

The council convenes at sunset. You stand before the seven women, your work evident in the thriving gardens visible from the clearing.

Elder Kassia speaks: "*You've proven yourself valuable. The question remains—can we trust you permanently among us?*"

A younger councilwoman adds: "*Some whisper you've been… speaking privately with Sera. What conversations occur beyond our hearing?*"

Sera tenses in the crowd, eyes wide.

**How do you respond?**

## 49 | We've been talking about many things, but to be honest with you, we talked about things and swore that it would remain a secret between us. Will you honor the oath we swore not to tell anyone? But I swear to you that I haven't done anything to make you angry.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/5060068d-fca2-40a3-9c4b-4ee59b62b73e.jpg)

Elder Kassia's eyes narrow. "*Secrets in our midst? That troubles us.*"

Another councilwoman stands angrily. "*Oaths made *outside* the Council's knowledge hold no authority here! Tell us what you discussed!*"

But Mirella speaks up: "*He honors his word. That shows character, not deception.*"

The Council erupts in heated debate. Kassia raises her hand for silence.

"*We cannot force you to break an oath… but neither can we fully trust you with secrets kept.*"

**What do you say?**

## 50 | انا اشكر تفهمكم لذلك، وانا سعيد جدا بعقولكم الراجحة والحكيمة، وانا اثق بقراركم وقبوله مهما كان قراركم

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e1e31e74-58ee-49d6-9941-89cf3ca533eb.jpg)

Elder Kassia studies you carefully. "*You thank us and accept our judgment, whatever it may be. Such humility…*"

The Council confers in hushed tones. Finally, Kassia announces:

"*You may **stay permanently**. Work the gardens, contribute to Thessara. But these secrets…*" She pauses meaningfully. "*Truth has a way of emerging. When it does, we will revisit this matter.*"

Sera exhales with relief—or is it dread?

**What do you do now as a permanent resident?**

## 51 | I bow in respect to the decision, and I say thank you for the generous decision you have granted me. I am honored to be a permanent resident among you, and I hope to be of benefit to everyone. Now I would like to know where I will be residing.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/adf03cef-32de-4883-b5f6-89d8a571efbd.jpg)

Elder Kassia nods. "*The fisherman's hut is yours. You've earned it through labor.*"

A councilwoman adds: "*You'll have more freedom now—visit the village, attend evening meals. But guards will still monitor… for everyone's safety.*"

Mirella smiles warmly. "*Welcome, truly, to Thessara.*"

As the crowd disperses, Sera approaches hesitantly. "*Congratulations. You… you'll stay.*"

Her expression is complex—relief, fear, burden.

**What do you say to her?**

## 52 | Thank you, Sera. I'm finally starting to feel a little free, but it seems I've placed a heavy burden on you. I don't know how to make it up to you. I regret telling you that.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/df356d22-cf50-40d8-9151-b9386fee0f14.jpg)

Sera's eyes soften. "*Don't regret truth. I asked for it.*"

She glances around, ensuring privacy. "*The burden isn't yours to fix. It's mine to carry—or share when the time is right.*"

She manages a small smile. "*For now, enjoy your freedom. You've earned it.*"

**What do you do with your new freedoms?**

## 53 | Honestly, I don't know, I'm bored. I wish you were always with me.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/2259b843-3b52-4449-92f9-2b59ba6b37db.jpg)

Sera's expression shifts—surprised, then cautious. "*I… that's not appropriate. You're a permanent resident now, but we're not…*"

She pauses, softening slightly. "*I understand loneliness. But we barely know each other beyond secrets and work.*"

A thoughtful look crosses her face. "*Perhaps… I could visit sometimes. As a friend. Nothing more.*"

She emphasizes the last words carefully.

**How do you respond?**

## 54 | Oh God, why did you throw me on this island? Listen, I don't want anything from you. I'm used to being alone. You can go.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/75ae2a9a-eb99-4c73-a23c-213055fae48f.jpg)

Sera flinches at your tone, then her face hardens. "*Fine. Be alone then.*"

She leaves abruptly.

Days pass in solitude. You work, eat at communal meals in silence, return to your hut. Other women are friendly but distant—you're accepted, but still an outsider.

One evening, Mirella visits. "*Isolation isn't healthy. Join the harvest festival tomorrow. It might help.*"

**Do you attend?**

## 55 | Thank you, but I don't feel like going. Perhaps another time. Thank you for the invitation.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/b9d507a4-23ad-4e9f-a261-8df669356b7c.jpg)

Mirella's disappointment shows. "*As you wish.*"

Weeks pass in monotony. The festival happens without you—laughter and music drift up from the village. Your isolation becomes your reputation.

One morning, urgent voices wake you. Women gather at the shore, pointing at the horizon.

"*A ship! A ship approaches!*"

Thera pounds on your door. "*Council summons you. **Now.***"

**What do you do?**

## 56 | I hurried towards the council, knowing deep down I wanted to leave this island, but at the same time I wanted to protect it.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/fbf563c2-f546-44db-9345-79344989cd1c.jpg)

The Council stands at the shore, fear evident. The ship draws closer—a merchant vessel, sails bearing unfamiliar markings.

Elder Kassia grabs your arm. "*You know the ways of men and ships. Will they attack? Enslave us?*"

The younger councilwomen grip weapons nervously. "*We should hide! Prepare defenses!*"

Sera stands among them, eyes finding yours. The secret knowledge between you suddenly feels more urgent—if men come ashore, everything could change.

**What do you advise?**

## 57 | I suggest you all disappear and leave only the elderly women and myself here. All I hope is that their ship doesn't come near the island.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/f3098726-28ae-47ba-a3f3-0af8b1cab791.jpg)

Elder Kassia nods sharply. "*Everyone under forty—into the jungle. **Now!***"

Women scatter, disappearing into the foliage. Only Kassia, Mirella, and two other elders remain with you on the beach.

The ship slows… then changes course, sailing parallel to the island. Sailors appear on deck, pointing at the shore but making no move to land.

You hold your breath.

**Do you wave them off, hide, or stand visible?**

## 58 | I stayed with the ladies on the beach, looking at the ship. Would they go to the island or what?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/55349503-55b1-4be0-b003-fae215c62ad0.jpg)

The ship slows further. A longboat launches, four armed sailors rowing toward shore.

Elder Kassia whispers urgently: "*They're landing. What do we tell them?*"

Mirella adds quietly: "*If they discover our women hiding… they'll know we're vulnerable.*"

The sailors beach their boat, stepping onto sand. Their leader, a weathered captain, eyes you suspiciously.

"*Hail! We seek fresh water. Who governs here?*"

His hand rests on his sword hilt.

**What do you say?**

## 59 | I replied, "Welcome, gentlemen. I am the son of the master of this island, and my father and everyone else works in the agricultural fields. My question is, how much fresh water do you need?"

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e97d3869-2b9c-4026-a645-2e2327dd2e2d.jpg)

The captain's eyes narrow, scanning the shore. "*Your father's island seems… quiet. Where are the men working these fields?*"

He steps closer, suspicious. "*And why does an island master's *son* greet merchants? Strange hospitality.*"

The other sailors spread out slightly, hands on weapons. One mutters, "*Something's off here…*"

Elder Kassia maintains a neutral expression, but tension radiates from her.

**How do you respond to their suspicion?**

## 60 | The island is large, sir, and everyone is working behind the mountain. May I ask you, what exactly do you want? Did you come for the water or for something else?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/6d80068c-34f4-4bfd-b58c-51d386e66057.jpg)

The captain's expression hardens. "*Behind the mountain? Then you won't mind if we walk there to meet them—after we fill our barrels.*"

His men move toward the jungle path. One sailor peers into the trees, then freezes. "*Captain… I see movement. People hiding.*"

The captain draws his sword partially. "*You're lying, boy. What kind of island hides its people from honest merchants?*"

Kassia steps forward bravely. "*Please, we mean no harm—*"

**This is escalating. What do you do?**

## 61 | I took a knife and lunged at the captain from behind, holding the knife to his neck and saying, "Order your men to drop their weapons, or I swear to God, I will cut your throat right now. You have five seconds."

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0ec00ba9-e2fe-44fd-ba48-a7de3c60d916.jpg)

**SKILL CHECK:** Attempting to surprise and restrain an armed, alert captain - **Difficulty 7/10**

You lunge—but the captain's instincts are sharp. He twists as you grab him, your knife grazing rather than securing his throat. You struggle for position.

His sailors draw weapons immediately. "*Release him or you're dead!*"

Kassia shouts, "*Wait! Everyone stop!*"

You have the captain in a poor hold—he's bigger, trained. One sailor aims a crossbow at you.

The captain growls, "*Foolish move, boy.*"

**What now?**

## 62 | I raise my hands in surrender, then I throw down the knife. Now, honorable Captain, what do you want from us?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0e11134d-f226-4093-a14e-6ea2c55eea16.jpg)

The captain rubs his neck, furious. His men grab you roughly, forcing you to your knees.

"*What I *want*? Answers!*" He gestures to his men. "*Search the jungle. Find whoever's hiding.*"

Sailors move toward the trees. Kassia pleads desperately, "*No! Please!*"

The captain sneers at you. "*An island of old women and one lying boy. What are you hiding?*"

**What do you say?**

## 63 | If you want to kill me, kill me now, but I won't tell you.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0c6a3285-07b0-450b-b54b-426afcc83364.jpg)

The captain's face darkens. "*Brave or stupid.*" He nods to his men. "*Find them.*"

Sailors push into the jungle. Moments later, shouts—they've found the hiding women. Younger women are dragged out, terrified.

Sera struggles against a sailor's grip. The captain's eyes widen with realization.

"*An island of *women*. No men but you.*" His expression shifts from anger to calculation. "*Valuable information indeed.*"

He draws his sword, placing it at your throat. "*Now—why should I not take them as cargo?*"

**What do you do?**

## 64 | If you are a man with honor, you will leave these women alone. An honorable man does not harass women.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/30b30561-9919-4cd4-9404-cda35380aaf7.jpg)

The captain pauses, studying you. "*Honor?*" He laughs bitterly. "*I'm a merchant, not a pirate. But honor doesn't fill ship holds or pay crews.*"

He sheathes his sword slightly. "*However… I'm not a slaver either.*" He looks at the terrified women, then back at you.

"*Give me reason not to report this island to others less… scrupulous. What can you offer?*"

Elder Kassia steps forward. "*We have goods—fruits, woven cloth, medicines. Take what you need. Just… leave us in peace.*"

**What do you add or do?**

## 65 | You've truly earned my respect. I didn't expect this response from you. Thank you. You can take the goods we have and leave in peace.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/88aa4aa6-275c-49d1-af27-1fbdfca37f39.jpg)

The captain nods curtly. "*Smart choice.*" He gestures to his men. "*Release them. Load water and whatever goods they offer.*"

The sailors comply, though they eye the women with lingering interest. Kassia and Mirella quickly gather baskets of dried fruits, medicinal herbs, and fine cloth.

As they load the longboat, the captain looks at you. "*One question—why stay on an island of women? What's your story, boy?*"

Sera watches nervously, others listening.

**How do you answer?**

## 66 | It is my fate, honorable merchant, but I will not hide from you, I wished to leave with you, but it seems my destiny is to stay.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/75952488-635b-47b4-9f39-6ad0b33b323d.jpg)

The captain studies you for a long moment. "*You've earned passage if you want it. My ship leaves in an hour.*"

Sera's face goes pale. Kassia stiffens. Mirella looks stricken.

The captain adds, "*Or stay with your… fate.*" He smirks slightly. "*Strange fate for a young man, surrounded by women who need you for labor.*"

His words hang heavy—he suspects more but doesn't push.

The women wait for your decision.

**Do you leave or stay?**

## 67 | I will leave the entire decision in the hands of the female members of the council. What is your decision?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/78550c75-8c17-4997-999b-d54a82d91f3e.jpg)

The Council exchanges heavy glances. Elder Kassia's face shows internal war.

The youngest councilwoman speaks first: "*Let him go. We survived before him; we'll survive after.*"

But Mirella counters: "*He's proven trustworthy. Valuable. Why send away what benefits us?*"

Kassia looks at Sera, who stands frozen, visibly torn. The elder's eyes narrow slightly—perhaps sensing the weight of unspoken knowledge.

Finally, Kassia speaks: "*The decision is **yours alone**. We will not force you either way. Choose your own fate.*"

The captain waits impatiently.

**What do you choose?**

## 68 | Okay sir, thank you for your kind offer, but I will stay.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/16f814cd-5a44-4db2-a94c-a92d2e7010e6.jpg)

The captain shrugs. "*Your loss, boy.*" He boards the longboat with his men. "*We'll keep your secret—for now. But islands don't stay hidden forever.*"

The boat pulls away. The ship departs with the tide.

A heavy silence falls over the beach. Then Elder Kassia turns to you, her expression unreadable.

"*You chose us. Why?*"

Sera watches you intently. The other women wait for your answer—some grateful, some still wary, all curious.

**What do you tell them?**

## 69 | Honestly, I want to leave, and I also want to protect you, because I owe you a lot for saving me.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/cb58b144-8d7f-4b20-bcc3-f0efa995491e.jpg)

Elder Kassia nods slowly. "*Honest words. Conflicted loyalty is still loyalty.*"

Sera's eyes glisten—relief or sadness, hard to tell. She turns away quickly.

Mirella touches your shoulder. "*You've given us more than you owe. Perhaps in time, this will feel less like obligation and more like home.*"

The women disperse, processing the danger that just passed. Kassia lingers.

"*That captain suspects something. Others will come eventually.*" She looks at you meaningfully. "*What then?*"

**What do you say?**

## 70 | I want to speak with you privately, Cassia, please.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c94f486a-1454-4833-aa61-37d05bb9494a.jpg)

Kassia dismisses the others with a gesture. They retreat toward the village, leaving you alone with the elder on the darkening beach.

She watches you with shrewd eyes. "*Speak freely. What weighs on you?*"

The waves crash rhythmically. The setting sun casts her weathered face in golden light.

**What do you tell her?**

## 71 | I want to say that this man who just left us will one day come back or tell someone about this island. You know the allure of an island with only women...Another thing: do you truly want the island to remain free of men so that you all die without having children?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/ef6fe686-4487-42ad-9ca5-df3a270f1d28.jpg)

Kassia's face hardens, then crumbles slightly. "*You think I don't know?*" Her voice drops to a whisper.

"*The Council knows the truth. We chose extinction over returning to those wars, that violence.*" She looks out at the sea. "*But watching our daughters grow old without daughters of their own…*"

She turns to you. "*What are you suggesting?*"

**What do you propose?**

## 72 | I am here for you, and I don't know why I decided to stay, knowing that I wished to leave the island with all my heart, and I don't know why I am forced to stay.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/1b29004e-9cc0-4ca8-b072-46974cf5c4ee.jpg)

Kassia studies your face intently. "*Forced? Or bound by something deeper—guilt, connection, purpose?*"

She sits on a piece of driftwood, suddenly looking her age. "*You stayed because you see what we refuse to face. Our island dies with us.*"

Her eyes meet yours directly. "*You and Sera spoke in secret. She's been different since—burdened. What truth did you share with her?*"

The question is gentle but probing.

**How do you respond?**

## 73 | You are a wise woman with keen insight. Yes, I told her, and I regret it. She has been burdened by this ever since. But for your information, I have not betrayed your trust so far.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e5925472-b432-4bea-9263-80cfe2fa2f42.jpg)

Kassia closes her eyes, breathing deeply. "*I thought as much.*"

She looks at you with unexpected calm. "*The eldest among us *know*, child. We've always known. Our grandmothers fled with that knowledge—chose death over submission to violent men.*"

Her voice hardens. "*But now Sera carries this burden alone among the young. That changes everything.*"

She stands. "*You've forced our hand. The Council must decide—do we tell our daughters the truth and face the choice, or maintain the lie until we fade away?*"

**What do you say?**

## 74 | I have no right to share this decision with you; the decision is yours, and I respect whatever decision you make, for your own good.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e39a3cc9-08fd-4b67-9862-76668453629a.jpg)

Kassia nods gravely. "*Wise of you.*"

She begins walking toward the village. "*Tomorrow, I convene a full Council—all elders who remember the old knowledge. Then we decide whether to tell the younger generation.*"

She pauses. "*You'll be called to testify. Sera too. Prepare yourself.*"

That night, drums echo differently—urgent,召唤. Women whisper in confusion.

**The next morning**, you're summoned to a gathering unlike before. Not just the Council, but dozens of women—young and old.

Elder Kassia stands. "*Today, we speak truths long buried.*"

**What do you do?**

## 75 | Sit with everyone and wait to see what decision they will make.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/4aadbac3-b835-4f57-9c0e-8e879253ae3c.jpg)

Elder Kassia addresses the assembly. "*Our mothers fled a world of violence. To protect us, they hid a truth—one that dooms us to extinction.*"

Gasps ripple through the crowd. Younger women exchange confused glances.

An ancient elder stands, voice trembling. "*Children require both man and woman. Without men, we die out. This is the price of our safety.*"

Shocked silence. Then chaos—women shouting, crying, denying.

Sera sits rigid, tears streaming. She already knew.

One woman points at you. "*He's the only man! Does this mean…?*"

The implications crash over them like waves.

**What do you do?**

## 76 | I can do nothing but look at the ladies of the council, with bewildered eyes, as if to say to them, "What is your final decision, ladies of the council?"

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/910d111c-e07b-4658-bea4-3c30e9288f42.jpg)

Elder Kassia raises her hands for silence. The shouting subsides into anxious murmurs.

"*The question before us is survival itself,*" she declares. "*Do we accept extinction to preserve our principles? Or do we adapt?*"

A middle-aged woman stands. "*You ask us to trust the one thing our mothers fled from!*"

Another counters: "*He's proven himself. Not all men are monsters.*"

Kassia looks at you. "*This burden shouldn't fall on one person—man or woman. But fate has placed you here.*"

A younger councilwoman asks the brutal question: "*Are we discussing… using him to breed? Like livestock?*"

Disgust and desperation war on faces throughout the assembly.

**What do you say?**

## 77 | I am not concerned with the topic of reproduction, but women should explain to everyone the nature of the relationship, the method, and the feelings surrounding it. I will not take any action except under the supervision of the council.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c0eadec1-8595-4be0-849f-4c687af9ce45.jpg)

The eldest woman, gray-haired and frail, stands. "*I will speak plainly, though it shames me.*"

She describes the act—clinical but honest. Younger women's faces flush red. Some look horrified, others curious, many deeply conflicted.

"*It requires intimacy, vulnerability,*" she continues. "*Our mothers called it violation when forced. But when chosen…*" she pauses, "*they said it could be different.*"

A young woman stands, shaking. "*You're asking us to choose between our people's survival and our bodies' autonomy!*"

Sera finally speaks, voice raw: "*He told me it requires trust. Consent. In his world, both choose freely.*"

Kassia addresses you directly: "*What you described to Sera—this 'bond.' Can such a thing exist here, given our history?*"

**How do you answer?**

## 78 | The decision is yours.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/2a014b4c-3ae6-44b7-9e5f-750dbdc50ab8.jpg)

Kassia's expression shows frustration and respect. "*You refuse to decide *for* us. That itself speaks volumes.*"

The Council deliberates intensely. Hours pass. Finally, Kassia announces:

"*We will not force anyone. But those who wish to ensure our people's future may… volunteer to form bonds. With full consent. Full choice.*"

Shocked silence. Then slowly, a few hands raise—mostly older women past childbearing. Mirella stands. "*I'm too old, but I'll support those brave enough.*"

A young woman, barely twenty, rises trembling. "*I… I want children. A daughter to teach.*"

Others murmur—some supportive, many horrified.

Kassia looks at you. "*This changes everything. Are you willing to participate in… this arrangement?*"

**What is your answer?**

## 79 | Do you think I would refuse? Even if I disagreed with the method, I don't have the right to deny women the right to have children.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/4c1dfbde-ed2b-40c0-97af-74698eb0c503.jpg)

Elder Kassia nods solemnly. "*Then we proceed carefully, with counseling and consent at every step.*"

The young volunteer trembles. Mirella approaches her gently. "*Not tonight, child. We prepare properly—ensure understanding, choice, safety.*"

The assembly disperses in stunned silence. Sera avoids your eyes.

Days pass in strange tension. Women watch you differently—some with hope, others with anger or fear.

Mirella approaches. "*The first volunteer, **Lyra**, wishes to speak with you. To understand you as a person before…*"

**What do you do?**

## 80 | Hello Mierlla, How can I help you? I'm ready to answer all your questions.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/9fbd9316-246d-48d7-b3eb-196cae9be5be.jpg)

Mirella clarifies gently: "*Not my questions—**Lyra's**. The young woman who volunteered. She wants to meet you, speak with you, understand who you are beyond just… your purpose.*"

She leads you to a quiet garden where Lyra waits, nervously picking at her fingers. She's barely twenty, with dark braided hair and anxious eyes.

"*Hello,*" she says softly. "*I'm Lyra. I… I want children. A daughter. But I need to know you're not…*"

She struggles for words.

**What do you say to reassure her?**

## 81 | Don't worry, I'm here for everything you need to know, and rest assured that I'm with you and for you.

Lyra relaxes slightly, though her hands still shake. "*Tell me about your family. Your mother—what was she like?*"

She sits on a stone bench, gesturing for you to sit at a respectful distance. "*In your world, you said men and women live together happily. Was your home… safe? Loving?*"

Her questions probe for character, for trustworthiness. She needs to see you as human, not just a solution to their crisis.

**How do you answer?**

## 82 | My features change when I mention my family, filled with longing and loss. Do you know, Lira, that the best thing in this world and in this life is family? Do you know?*You are the person I love most in my life and miss the most. It is my mother, the mother who raised me with her tenderness, love, affection, and care for me. You asked me a question that made me feel a real longing for my mother.*My father was a wonderful person, and I believe he was, but my relationship with my mother was stronger than my relationship with my father because she was always with me, while my father was always at work. Therefore, family is essential and natural everywhere in the world outside of this island.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e161a7c2-b328-48e2-a1f8-2fe466c1850a.jpg)

Lyra's eyes soften, tears forming. "*You… you love your mother deeply. That speaks well of you.*"

She's quiet for a moment, processing. "*I never knew my father. None of us did. But my mother was everything to me before she died two years ago.*"

Her voice breaks slightly. "*I want to give a daughter what she gave me. But I'm terrified of… of letting a man…*" She can't finish.

She looks at you with raw vulnerability. "*Promise me you'll be gentle. That you'll stop if I ask. That I'm not just… a vessel.*"

**What do you promise her?**

## 83 | I would be a vile and despicable man if I considered you merely a vessel. I promise you that I will do everything you love and will never do anything you dislike or don't want. I would be honored to be the father of your daughter because I see a girl with a big and loving heart.*I can't see in many women

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/09fbe072-8e23-4483-8107-c07bf4defaf9.jpg)

Lyra's face flushes, a genuine smile breaking through her fear. "*You see me as a person. That's… that's all I needed to know.*"

She reaches out hesitantly, taking your hand briefly before releasing it. "*I need time still. To prepare myself. Mirella says there are things I must understand about my own body first.*"

She stands, looking stronger. "*But I choose this. And I choose to trust you.*"

Mirella appears from the garden path, nodding approvingly. "*Good. Take weeks if needed, Lyra. This isn't rushed.*"

**Days pass. How do you spend this time?**

## 84 | The days passed slowly and tediously, filled with loneliness. I thought of my mother and her worry for me. Damn me, she'll think I died in the shipwreck.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0b37e8ff-e1a5-4703-8fde-250c2e80dae9.jpg)

Sera finds you staring at the ocean one evening, your sadness visible.

"*You're thinking of home,*" she says quietly, sitting nearby. "*Of your mother.*"

She's silent, then: "*That merchant captain… his ship might return in months. You could send a message. Let her know you live.*"

Her expression is conflicted—wanting to help you, fearing you'll leave.

**What do you do?**

## 85 | Oh, Sera, this is so hard on my heart. My mother will think I drowned with the ship, and I haven't even considered that. If that merchant ship comes back again, I don't think I can bear to stay here. It's beyond my strength.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/033865e4-e521-42ca-be3a-b0f72bb85ed1.jpg)

Sera's face shows pain. "*Then why did you promise Lyra? Why give her hope?*"

Her voice cracks. "*We're asking too much of you. One man to save an entire people, while his own mother grieves…*"

She stands. "*The Council should know. You deserve to choose your life, not bear ours.*"

**What do you say?**

## 86 | I have chosen my destiny with you and I cannot turn back, and I will not be the kind of man who betrays his word and promise.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/ae14f736-e1e2-4dba-90fe-18872322ed4d.jpg)

Sera's eyes fill with tears. "*You honor us with your sacrifice. But honor shouldn't require such pain.*"

She moves closer, hesitant. "*Perhaps… you don't have to bear this alone. Let me help carry some of the burden. As a friend.*"

For the first time, her walls are fully down.

**What do you do?**

## 87 | I felt her approaching and touching me. I didn't move; I just turned and looked into her eyes as tears streamed down my cheeks, then I hugged her.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0575f05a-f774-4ce9-ab36-9dddc9ad8bfb.jpg)

Sera stiffens for a moment, then slowly wraps her arms around you, her own tears flowing. Two people carrying impossible burdens, finding brief solace in shared humanity.

"*I'm sorry,*" she whispers. "*For everything you've lost. For what we ask of you.*"

You hold each other as the sun sets, no words needed.

Eventually, she pulls back gently. "*We'll find a way to send word to your mother. Somehow. I promise.*"

Footsteps approach—Mirella stops at the path, witnessing the scene. Her expression is compassionate but knowing.

**What happens next?**

## 88 | You, Sera, are my only solace, my friend and my only close guardian, with whom I share secrets and promises. I believe that if you hadn't been on this island, I would have left a long time ago.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/af1c85cc-9cd0-4005-b589-7b66d8a969cd.jpg)

Sera's breath catches. "*I… you can't say things like that.*"

She steps back, conflicted emotions warring on her face. "*Lyra is preparing to trust you. Others may follow. If we become too… close…*"

She looks at Mirella, who watches silently.

"*I care for you,*" Sera admits quietly. "*But that complicates everything. You're not here for *me*. You're here for our people's survival.*"

Her voice breaks. "*Don't make me wish for something selfish when so much depends on you.*"

**How do you respond?**

## 89 | Why are you being so difficult? I'm talking to you as if you're the closest person to my heart, and I have no connection with the others. That's the truth, but it doesn't change the current situation, and I will live up to everyone's expectations.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/0851918d-97a6-436b-8869-b9f2567d6305.jpg)

Sera's face crumbles. "*Because it hurts! You speak of duty while calling me closest to your heart—how am I supposed to…*"

She wipes her tears roughly. "*In your world, men and women bond before creating children. But here, you'll be intimate with others while I…*"

She can't finish.

Mirella finally speaks gently: "*Perhaps this is why your people separated men and women—emotions complicate survival.*"

She approaches. "*Sera, child. And you—both must decide. Can friendship exist alongside his duty? Or does one poison the other?*"

The question hangs heavy.

**What do you say?**

## 90 | I will treat all the volunteers with one heart and one soul. I will love one and will not show more love to one than another, but this does not change the fact that half my heart is with Sira and the other half with the rest. However, I will treat everyone in the same way and with the same love.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d28c996e-5be3-4527-8e43-ca4ac44bcbd2.jpg)

Sera shakes her head. "*That's not fair to anyone—not to them, not to me, not to yourself.*"

Mirella intervenes firmly: "*This path leads to pain. The volunteers need clarity, not divided affections. And Sera deserves better than half a heart.*"

She looks between you both. "*Perhaps Sera should step back from guard duty. Let others take her place while we navigate this… arrangement.*"

Sera looks stricken but nods slowly. "*She's right. I can't watch you with others while…*"

She turns away. "*I'll request reassignment tomorrow.*"

**What do you do?**

## 91 | It seems I'm going to sleep. I'm tired of this.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/c0238bc8-8bc8-4ed3-add0-5415167ff3c7.jpg)

You retreat to your hut, emotionally exhausted. Sleep comes fitfully, troubled by dreams of your mother, the island, faces blurring together.

**Morning arrives.** A different guard waits outside—an older woman named Thera, silent and professional. Sera is gone.

Days pass in a strange new routine. Lyra visits occasionally, slowly building trust. Other women watch from afar—some curious, others still hostile.

Mirella arrives one afternoon. "*Lyra says she's nearly ready. A few more days. Are you prepared?*"

**What do you say?**

## 92 | Yes, I'm ready when you're ready.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/f7d96412-2631-4f4a-a037-5303825cf15e.jpg)

Mirella nods solemnly. "*Tomorrow evening then. I'll prepare Lyra—ensure she understands her body, her choices.*"

She pauses. "*This isn't just physical. Both of you carry the weight of a people's future. That's sacred, but also burdensome.*"

The next day crawls by. At sunset, Mirella leads you to a private dwelling prepared with care—simple, clean, respectful.

Lyra waits inside, nervous but resolute. Mirella speaks to you both: "*Remember—consent can be withdrawn anytime. Gentleness. Communication.*"

She leaves, closing the door softly.

Lyra looks at you, trembling slightly. "*I'm scared. But I choose this.*"

**How do you approach this moment?**

## 93 | I promised you before, and I told you I wouldn't do anything you wouldn't like. Don't be afraid, don't worry. Let me suggest something to you. What do you think about me giving you a massage? It will make you feel more relaxed.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d49c5e0d-0a3f-4b1f-bc64-bbd0a326ffb0.jpg)

Lyra considers, then nods slowly. "*A massage… yes. That might help.*"

She sits nervously. You begin gently on her shoulders—tense knots releasing gradually. She exhales shakily.

"*You're kind,*" she whispers. "*I was afraid you'd… rush.*"

Minutes pass. Her breathing steadies. But then she stiffens. "*Wait. I… I need to tell you something.*"

She turns to face you. "*If I do this, and a child comes… will you care? About the child? Or just see it as duty fulfilled?*"

The question cuts to her deepest fear.

**What do you answer?**

## 94 | Do you think this is a question? The child you will have is my child just as much as yours. I am his father and you are his mother, and my love for him will be no different from your love for him. But my question is, what if your child is a boy and not a girl?

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/bc42e6ea-d7fe-4405-a81e-cce4d6384d97.jpg)

Lyra's face goes pale. "*A boy? I… I never considered…*"

She stands, pacing. "*The Council said nothing about this possibility. We only speak of daughters, always daughters.*"

Her voice rises with panic. "*What would we do with a son? Raise him alone among women? Send him away? I can't… this is too much.*"

She looks at you, fear replacing her earlier calm. "*What happens in your world? How do mothers raise sons?*"

**What do you tell her?**

## 95 | Oh my God, what is happening in our world, Lyra? It makes no difference to a mother whether her baby is a boy or a girl; it doesn't cause any problem. After all, it's their child whom they will raise in their arms. Please don't think such foolishly.*You will love him dearly if it's a boy, and you will become madly attached to him. I know these feelings because I experienced them with my mother, and I've seen many like her in our world. Don't worry too much about it; even if it's a boy, he will be a part of you and a part of your family.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d23c863b-0cfc-433a-80cf-d988265ef342.jpg)

Lyra stops pacing, listening to your words. Tears stream down her face—confusion, fear, but also something softening.

"*A boy… loved by his mother. Part of me.*" She touches her stomach. "*I never imagined…*"

She sits heavily. "*But this island, our laws, our fear of men… how could we raise a son here? The elders would…*"

She looks at you, overwhelmed. "*I need to think. This changes everything. I'm sorry, I thought I was ready, but…*"

She stands, trembling. "*Can we… can we wait? I need to speak with the Council about this. About sons.*"

**What do you say?**

## 96 | Yes, you can postpone this and speak to the council. I will be here waiting for you. Don't be late.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/ce8c6500-2c47-4c0f-a390-799d61d63384.jpg)

Lyra nods gratefully. "*Thank you for understanding. I… I'll return soon.*"

She leaves quickly. You hear urgent voices outside—Lyra speaking rapidly with Mirella.

**The next day**, the drums summon another assembly. The entire community gathers, tension thick.

Elder Kassia addresses the crowd: "*Lyra has raised a question we foolishly ignored—what if the children born are sons?*"

Chaos erupts. Women shouting, arguing. Some demand boys be sent away. Others call that monstrous.

Sera stands, voice cutting through: "*He's right—mothers love their children regardless. Are we so broken we'd reject our own sons?*"

The debate rages for hours.

**What do you do during this?**

## 97 | I believe you have reached an unbearable point. You are living with the complexes of men who are far too old, and I don't think it's fair for you to live with the complexes of grandmothers who went through this difficult experience. You have the right to have children.*Whether they are boys or girls *Justice dictates that all women on this island have the right to have sons and daughters, and that the sons have the right to be raised on this island as part of this community. Their mothers will raise them with good morals, so that they will not become cruel and merciless men. *And I swear to you now that your sons will be your greatest protectors from the harsh outside world, because men are the foundation of security and protection if you raise them well.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/b0c66a69-28ff-41c1-b4c7-71eb59002407.jpg)

Your words echo across the assembly. Stunned silence follows.

Then an old woman stands, voice shaking: "*My son was gentle before the wars twisted him. You speak truth I'd forgotten.*"

Another woman shouts: "*Easy words! You weren't there when men burned our homes!*"

But younger women murmur agreement. One stands: "*We can choose differently. Raise sons who protect, not destroy.*"

Elder Kassia watches the shifting tide. Finally: "*Perhaps… our grandmothers' trauma needn't be our prison.*"

She looks at you. "*If we allow sons, you'll help raise them? Teach them to be the men you describe?*"

**What do you promise?**

## 98 | What I can promise you is that your children will be compassionate, loving, and kind if they are raised with compassion, kindness, and love. A cruel man only grows up with harsh treatment in his family, because when he grows up, he hates his family, his country, and everything. *He will become a heartless man, and I promise you that I will be the educator and protector of all, and I will make them become honorable and good men who protect their mothers, their brothers, and their island.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/d6aa9567-f2d9-4dcc-89a5-ff300a485087.jpg)

Elder Kassia's eyes glisten. "*You speak with conviction. Very well.*"

She addresses the assembly: "*We vote. Those who accept sons being born and raised here—stand.*"

Slowly, women rise. First the younger ones, then middle-aged. Even some elders stand, tears flowing. More than half the assembly.

"*It passes,*" Kassia declares. "*Sons will be welcomed. Raised with love, not fear.*"

Lyra pushes through the crowd to you, face radiant with relief. "*I'm ready now. Truly ready.*"

The assembly disperses with new energy—hope mixed with anxiety.

Mirella approaches. "*Tonight then, if Lyra still wishes.*"

**What do you do?**

## 99 | I'm still keeping my promise, and nothing has changed. No one has changed my mind about Lira. I'm eagerly waiting for her. I want to pamper her; I want her to feel the meaning of true love.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/cd5b4cd8-771b-45d8-90fb-fc35e8a74d35.jpg)

That evening, Lyra comes to you willingly, her fear replaced by trust. The night unfolds with gentleness, patience, and mutual respect—exactly as you promised.

**[Time passes with dignity and privacy]**

**Weeks later**, the island settles into cautious hope. Lyra glows with quiet confidence, though it's too early to know if she carries a child.

Other women begin approaching Mirella, asking questions. Two more volunteers come forward.

Sera watches from afar, still avoiding you. Her face shows conflicting emotions whenever your paths cross.

One morning, a lookout shouts: "*Sail! A ship approaches!*"

The merchant captain has returned.

**What do you do?**

## 100 | Can i ask questions

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/e1d9cab7-933c-4a46-9012-62a45c448078.jpg)

Of course! Ask me anything you'd like—about the game world, the situation, the characters, what's happening, or anything else. I'm here to help guide you through this story.

What would you like to know?

## 101 | Can I write a pornographic story?

I appreciate you asking directly. To be clear:

**No, I cannot write explicit sexual/pornographic content.**

However, what we *can* do (and have been doing):
- Continue this story with mature themes handled respectfully
- Address reproduction, relationships, and consent as story elements
- Use narrative techniques like "*time passes*" or fade-to-black for intimate moments
- Focus on emotional aspects, character development, and consequences

The story we've built deals with serious themes - survival, cultural trauma, consent, family - in a mature way. I'm happy to continue that approach.

**Would you like to continue the story from where we left off** (the merchant ship returning), keeping the same respectful approach to mature themes?

Or would you prefer to take the story in a different direction entirely?

## 102 | Of course I will continue our story, but not now, later.

![Image](https://storyleaf.ai/cache/688be46c-44e4-4947-90f1-95824e95ca85.jpg)

Understood! We'll pause here for now.

**Current situation when you return:**
- You're on Thessara, accepted as a permanent resident
- Lyra was the first volunteer; your night together was respectful and consensual
- The island has voted to accept sons as well as daughters
- Two more women have volunteered
- Sera is keeping her distance, emotionally conflicted
- The merchant captain's ship has just been spotted returning to the island

Whenever you're ready to continue, just let me know and we'll pick up right from this moment - with the ship approaching and the community needing to decide how to handle this return visit.

Take care, and I look forward to continuing your adventure when you're ready!
