You find yourself standing in the center of a small, peaceful village as the morning sun filters through the trees. Cobblestone paths wind between modest cottages where humans, halflings, and a few elves go about their daily routines.

The village tavern's wooden sign creaks in the breeze, the local shop displays basic goods, and the ancient forest looms mysteriously beyond the settlement's edge.

2 | sleep for one night and smell the ocean breeze in the morning of the next day, we are still at the village

After a restful night's sleep in the village, you wake to the gentle sounds of morning - birds chirping, distant conversations, and the rustle of leaves. However, being inland and surrounded by the ancient forest, the morning air carries earthy scents of pine and wildflowers rather than ocean breeze.

A faint, almost imperceptible hint of something distant drifts on the wind - perhaps carried from far downstream where the river meets the sea. The village elders mention that on clear days, if you travel to the forest and follow the river, you can eventually reach the ocean.

The tavern is already serving breakfast, the shop keeper is opening his doors, and forest paths beckon with morning mist.

Welcome to the Coastal Realms!

You find yourself standing in the center of a small, peaceful village as the morning sun filters through the trees. The distant tang of salt and sea spray carries on the breeze, mixing with the earthy forest scents - a reminder that the vast ocean lies somewhere beyond these lands.

Where would you like to begin your adventure?

4 | to the forest

You step onto the winding path leading into the ancient forest. Towering trees stretch overhead, their canopy filtering sunlight into dancing patches of green and gold. The air grows thick with magic and mystery.

Soft whispers seem to drift from deeper in the woods, and you notice two paths diverging ahead - one leads toward crumbling stone structures, the other follows the sound of flowing water.

Which path do you choose?

5 | look for inhabitants

You pause and scan the forest carefully for signs of life. Your keen observation reveals subtle movements in the shadows - a flash of iridescent wings darting between branches, tiny bells tinkling in the distance, and strange luminescent mushrooms that pulse with an otherworldly rhythm.

Near a moss-covered oak, you spot carved symbols and small offerings of flowers and stones - clear signs of druid presence. From deeper in the woods, you hear what sounds like chanting or singing in an unfamiliar melodic language.

A small, fox-like creature with shimmering fur watches you curiously from behind a tree, its eyes glowing with intelligent awareness - definitely not an ordinary forest animal.

Do you approach the offerings, follow the singing, or try to communicate with the watching creature?

6 | come closer to the druid

You follow the carved symbols deeper into the forest, moving toward the source of the melodic chanting. The ancient trees seem to part naturally before you, creating a winding path of soft moss and fallen leaves.

Ahead, in a small clearing dappled with golden sunlight, you discover an elderly elf dressed in earth-toned robes. She kneels beside a crystal-clear spring, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air as she chants. Flowers bloom instantly where her fingers pass, and the water glows faintly with healing energy.

She notices your approach and looks up with wise, ancient eyes that hold no fear - only curiosity about this visitor to her sacred grove.

Few outsiders find their way here,” she says in a voice like rustling leaves. “What brings you to the heart of the old forest?
