Welcome to the Coastal Realms! You find yourself standing in the center of a small village as the morning sun rises. Around you, humans and halflings go about their daily routines. You notice the warm glow from the tavern, the modest shop nearby, and a mysterious forest path leading away from town.

Where would you like to go first?



## 2 | look around

You scan the village square. The tavern's wooden sign creaks gently - "*The Weary Traveler.*" A few elderly halflings sit on benches discussing crops. The shop displays basic tools and provisions. Children play near a well. Forest trees loom beyond the village edge, and you hear distant bird calls from within.

You notice more details now: smoke rises from several chimneys, a path leads toward the river beyond the forest, and an elder with a walking stick approaches the tavern. A merchant's cart sits by the shop, its owner haggling with the shopkeeper over grain prices.
