Welcome, adventurer! Your journey begins here, but where shall you go? What kind of world do you wish to explore? A fantasy realm, futuristic city, post-apocalyptic wasteland, or something else entirely?

2 | steampunk vancouver

Welcome to Steampunk Vancouver! Brass gears turn above cobblestone streets. Airships drift between fog-shrouded buildings. Steam vents hiss from every alley.

Where would you like to begin your adventure? The Gastown Clock Tower? The Coal Harbour Airship Docks? Or somewhere else?

3 | look around

You stand at Steamworks Square, the heart of Vancouver. Copper-clad buildings tower around you. Cogs and gears decorate ornate facades. Mechanical carriages rumble past. Well-dressed citizens wearing brass goggles hurry along. An airship announcement echoes: “Next departure to New Westminster in thirty minutes!

4 | walk to airship docks

You follow steam-marked pathways to Coal Harbour Airship Docks. Massive wooden piers extend into the water, supporting iron scaffolding where airships moor. Dock workers load cargo, passengers queue at ticket booths, and engineers make repairs. A captain shouts for last boarding to Victoria.

5 | board the airship to Victoria

Ticket, sir?” asks a uniformed attendant with brass buttons. After purchasing passage (5 copper gears), you board the Victoria-bound airship “HMS Cloudwalker.” The oak-paneled cabin buzzes with passengers as steam whistles signal departure. Through brass-rimmed windows, Vancouver shrinks below as you ascend into the clouds.

6 | look at it from above

You climb to the observation deck. From above, the “HMS Cloudwalker” is magnificent—a brass-plated dirigible with propellers whirring along its flanks. Steam billows from vents. Below, the Strait of Georgia sparkles between mainland and Vancouver Island. Other airships drift like mechanical whales through cloud banks.

7 | examine Vancouver from above

From this height, Vancouver is a marvel of brass and steam. The city grid is bisected by copper railways. Clocktowers and gear-topped spires punctuate the skyline. Stanley Park remains green but houses a massive Tesla coil. Coal smoke rises from factories along False Creek. Mechanical cranes work the harbor where steamships dock.

8 | use the telescope to look closer at the city from above

You find a brass telescope mounted on the railing. Peering through, you spot the Mechanical University with its rotating observatory dome. In Chinatown, dragon-shaped automatons patrol rooftops. A clockwork lighthouse stands at Brockton Point. Stanley Park's Tesla coil shoots occasional lightning into collection towers.

9 | continue examining

Adjusting the telescope, you spot Gastown's massive Clock Heart pumping steam through city veins. Miner automatons excavate beneath Coal Harbor. The Granville Market airship hangar bustles with merchants. Police constables patrol on steam-powered velocipedes. A submarine surfaces near Granville Island, its brass periscope gleaming.

10 | continue

Focusing the telescope further, you discover a pneumatic tube network crisscrossing between buildings. In False Creek, floating laboratories conduct aether experiments. The West End features copper-domed residences with rotating weather vanes. A mechanical orca breaches near Lion's Gate, its brass fins gleaming in sunlight.

11 | continue the journey

The airship engines roar as “HMS Cloudwalker” continues across the Strait. Tea is served in the passenger cabin as islands pass below. A pod of mechanical orcas breaches the waves. The captain announces Victoria ahead—a city of brass clocktowers and terraced gardens. Ornate parliament buildings gleam with copper domes.

12 | try the tea

You accept a porcelain cup from a uniformed steward. The tea is served from a brass samovar with clockwork precision. It's a unique “Cascade Blend”—smoky with hints of cedar and blackberry. A miniature steam element keeps it perfectly hot throughout your journey.

13 | hey

Greetings, good traveler,” the steward says with a slight bow. “We'll be docking in Victoria within twenty minutes. Is there anything else you require? Perhaps you'd like to visit the observation deck for our final approach?

14 | observation deck would be splendid

Right this way, sir!” The steward leads you up a spiral brass staircase. The observation deck boasts panoramic windows. Victoria comes into view—a symphony of copper spires and clockwork gardens. Parliament buildings crowned with gear-shaped domes. Mechanical carriages traverse cobblestone streets. Airship docks bustle as you begin descent.

15 | look around

From the observation deck, you see Victoria Harbor approaching. Brass telescopes line the railing. Fellow passengers point excitedly at landmarks. The deck itself features polished wood floors, brass instruments monitoring wind conditions, and a map table where routes glow with electric light. Clouds part as you descend.

16 | carry on

The airship descends toward Victoria's grand Empress Docks. Mooring cables shoot up from brass towers. Steam whistles signal arrival. The city spreads before you—clockwork gardens, copper rooftops, and cobblestone streets. Passengers gather belongings as crew members prepare for docking. Victoria awaits your exploration!

17 | look down at the city

Below, Victoria unfolds like a clockwork marvel. The Parliament buildings sport rotating gear-crowned domes. Empress Hotel's copper facade gleams. Inner Harbor hosts submersibles and paddle steamers. A network of elevated brass rails carries tram cars. Beacon Hill features a massive astronomical calculator with moving parts.
