Mars Colony Adventure

1 | Start
Welcome to Mars! You find yourself at the Nova Ares spaceport, having just arrived from Earth. The gleaming domes of the city rise before you, connected by transparent tubes. Where would you like to go?
2 | show me the map of all Mars settlements
I notice you'd like to see a settlement map. I'd recommend visiting the Information Center in Nova Ares' Capital Dome. There, you can find interactive holographic maps showing all major cities:
- Nova Ares (Capital)
- Olympus Base
- Valles Haven
- Hellas Deep
- Korolev Station
- Various smaller outposts
Which settlement interests you?
3 | Valles Haven
Would you like to take a rocket plane to Valles Haven? It's a 3-hour flight over the Martian landscape to this remarkable canyon city. Known for its terraced agriculture and vertical transportation systems, it's built right into the walls of Valles Marineris.
4 | I was thinking of a train instead
The Equatorial Route train can take you from Nova Ares to Valles Haven. It's a longer journey (about 12 hours) but offers spectacular views through pressurized windows. The next train departs in 30 minutes from Central Station. Shall we head to the station?
5 | well of course
You board the sleek train, finding your seat in a viewing car. As it departs Nova Ares, the landscape changes from city domes to vast red plains. The double-paned windows offer protection from radiation while providing panoramic views. What would you like to do during the journey?
6 | tell me about the political environment
As you travel, a news hologram shows recent headlines. Mars operates under different systems: Nova Ares runs on Technocratic Democracy, where technical expertise influences voting power. Meanwhile, Valles Haven, your destination, uses Direct Democracy - every citizen votes on major decisions through secure networks.
7 | look around
In your train car, you see a mix of passengers. A group of water miners in work uniforms chat quietly, while a few corporate executives review holographic reports. Near the front, some agricultural scientists discuss greenhouse innovations. Through the window, you spot a dust storm on the horizon.
8 | will it be as dangerous as it was depicted in The Martian?
The conductor announces over the intercom: “No need for concern. Unlike the early days, we have advanced warning systems and reinforced carriages. The train will automatically adjust speed and shields. Modern Martian dust storms are more of an inconvenience than a danger now.”
